Chicago

I went to Chicago for the weekend with my Mom and Shari. Good to be home! :) We ate 12 oz hamburgers and looked at window displays. We also did a craft show but that's not as fun to report on.

Things I've been making lately

Lately I've been into making creating. Maybe I need a job again? Yes, most likely

I've been making lot's of cards. My new favorite thing is to stamp. Also, if you dab ink on the edges of the paper it makes a great effect.

Cupcake bites. Um, yum?! I stacked two cupcake bites on top of another and put it on a popsicle stick to make a snowman. I used little sprinkles for the accents. What a yummy and easy treat!

Tutu's. We went to Vegas so I wanted to bring our nieces and nephews some presents. I made Lizzy and Charlotte tutu's. Super easy- some elastic with tooling and ribbon tied on it. Charlotte like her own for a little bit. But she wanted to wear Lizzy's more that was too big for her...

Conference Weekend

We went to conference on Saturday morning. Brant, Amber, Justin, and I were trying to hurry into the conference center and (obviously) ignored the man holding protest signs. As we walked away he yelled, "I'd like to say have a nice day but there are no nice days in HELL!!"

We all started busting up laughing. He stayed up all night thinking of that one.

Kelly's Birthday

Saturday was Kelly's 22nd birthday. We had a fun day. Friday night we went out to eat and roasted marshmallows at Allison's. We also watched Cinderella and Justin was in pain I believe.Saturday Allison, Kelly and I went to DI and then met the two lovebirds (Justin and Bryan) up for lunch at Taco Bell. I'm not sure what inspired Taco Bell- maybe it was the fact that we're poor students and $.89 gorditas can't be beat.

Then we went to the depressing BYU-FSU game. We had a good time, all in all, although it was really a sad loss. Bryan and Justin yelled a whole lot and sometimes we were embarrassed. Then we got delicious PF Changs. Tonight we had dinner, cake, and watched Barbie movies. A great weekend indeed.
